My Promise To You

My Promise to You as Your Independent Medicare Broker

No sales pitch. No commission-first agenda. Just an honest look at what fits your situation — from someone who’s spent 16 years in this industry.

If you’ve worked with a Medicare agent before — or talked to a call center — you already know the feeling: pressure to sign, a pitch that felt more like a sales script, or a follow-up call trying to sell you something you never asked about. That’s not how I work, and I want to say exactly why, in my own words.

What does “independent Medicare broker” actually mean?

An independent broker isn’t employed by one insurance company. I represent multiple carriers, which means my job is to find the right plan fit for you, not to push any particular carrier. Captive agents and call centers often can only offer plans from one company — I’m not limited that way.

Do you really compare plans across multiple carriers?

Yes. Before I recommend anything, I look at what’s actually available in your county across the carriers I work with, and run a real comparison of coverage, cost, and provider networks. Plan benefits may include different combinations of extras like dental, vision, or over-the-counter allowances — my job is figuring out which combination actually matches how you use healthcare, not steering you toward whichever plan pays me the most.

Will you ever try to sell me a “be your own bank” life insurance policy or act like an estate planner?

No. I am a licensed Health Insurance broker who specializes in Medicare — not a financial advisor or estate planner, and I don’t present myself as one. You will not get a pitch from me for a Universal Life “infinite banking” policy, an annuity dressed up as a Medicare conversation, or any product outside my lane. If something outside Medicare comes up in your life, I’ll tell you to talk to a licensed professional in that field — not try to sell it to you myself.

How do you get paid?

I’m paid by the insurance carrier when you enroll in a plan through me — there’s no fee to you, ever. Because I represent multiple carriers rather than one, there’s no built-in incentive for me to push you toward a specific company. My job is to find the right plan fit for you, not to push any particular carrier.

What should I expect when I work with you?

Keeping things simple is the whole point. A phone call or video consultation where we go over your situation, a clear comparison of the plans that actually make sense for you, and follow-up by whatever method works best for you — phone, email, or a scheduled call through Calendly. No pressure to meet in person, no hard sell. Just straight answers.

Who do you serve?

I work with Medicare-eligible individuals throughout the Tampa Bay and Orlando Area, including Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco, Polk, Orange, Seminole, Osceola, Hernando, Sarasota, Manatee, and DeSoto counties.
