How It Works
1.Refer your client to Timothy Gibson with Healthplan4u.com by ensuring they mention you when initiating contact with us regarding Medicare and/or ACA Marketplace plans.
2.Consultation & Enrollment –We’ll perform a needs-based analysis and if appropriate and the client wishes to enroll, we will facilitate the enrollment process as the agent of record.
3.Email a copy of your complete and signed W-9 (One time only) to tim@healthplan4u.com. A fillable version of the form can be found here: https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/fw9.pdf
4. Get Paid –You’ll receive your referral fee once the client is enrolled in a plan at the time of the plan’s effective date, and commission has been received from the carrier to healthplan4u.com. This usually happens within three weeks of the effective date.

Frequently Asked Questions
When will I get paid on referrals?
Once we have received the initial commission payment from the carrier and have your signed and complete W-9 on file, we will mail a check within 3 business days to the referral source. We can also pay via Zelle if preferred.
Why do you need a TIN?
We require a Tax Identification Number because we have to ensure our company accounts for and documents all expenses. Also, if the 1099-NEC threshold ($2,000) is met, we are required by law to send you a 1099-NEC by the tax year deadline.
Are there chargebacks of any kind?
No. We do reserve the right to terminate this agreement at any time at the suspicion of unethical behavior.
I’m not a licensed insurance agent, can I send you referrals?
Not under the conditions of this program, as it would be illegal for us to compensate you for referrals based on enrollment. For legal and compliance purposes, we only accept referrals from licensed insurance agents.
